Lake Eyasi area is dominated by Hadzabe (Bushmen) and Datoga ethnic. The area is located south of Ngorongoro with varieties of flora and fauna. Hadzabe
Hadzabe (Hadza) or Bushmen is the last remaining hunter and gatherer community in Africa found along the lake Eyasi. With their traditional lifestyle of living in caves and holes, local hunting with bow and arrows, collecting wild honey, gathering fruits, tuber, roots and herbs, their local skill of making fire, they have manage to survive. Enjoy a local hunting with Hadzabe around lake eyasi and also local fishing and walking to the area.

Datoga
Datoga is the famous blacksmith and pastoral by nature found in the area of Lake Eyasi. The Datoga is nomadic tending to move from one area to another looking for fresh pastures for their cattle’s. Datoga is talented ethnic in iron skills by making various iron tools as spears, arrows and knives by using their local methods.
