Volcanoes National Park

Volcanoes National Park nestled along Virunga Mountains with 8 ancient volcanoes shared by Rwanda, Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo. Almost two hours drive from Kigali the Rwanda capital, the park is a central location for exploring some of Rwandan nature attractions includes mountain gorillas, fascinating golden monkey and dramatic landscape with thrill hiking.

Volcanoes National Park cover 160sq km inhabited with large population of mountain gorillas in Rwanda. The altitude range from 2400m to 4507m of volcano peaks. Close to park is bustling and vibrant market of Musanze a place to immerse into everyday Rwandan culture and tradition while going deep into earth with Musanze’s caves, one of the area’s recently attractions was established.
