Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo West National Park covering 7065sq km is located south eastern Kenya approximately 240km from Nairobi along western side of Mombasa to Nairobi highway. The park comprises Savannah, open grasslands, riverine vegetation, rocky ridges, scrubland and acacia woodlands.

The Tsavo west wildlife include buffaloes, elephant, hippos, giraffes, zebra, mongoose, hyrax, dikdik, lesser kudu, porcupine, wild dog, cheetah, lions, leopards with diverse plants species and over 560 bird varieties include corncrake and basra reed warbler.
