Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park with almost 1900sq km area is filled with outstanding beauty, lush vegetation, breathtaking scenery and wildlife in Uganda.
With over 95 mammal species the park inhabited with tree climbing lions, Uganda kob, elephant, buffalo, hippos, baboons and approximately 547 bird species found include Shoe-bill stork, black bee-eater, the 11 types of kingfishers and varieties of raptors as falcons and eagles.
Shadowed by legendary mist capped mountains of the moon which seen at the horizon on a clear day. The park boasts more than 100 crater lakes as Lake Edward, Lake George and Kazinga channel supporting numerous flocks of birds as flamingoes.
