Nairobi National Park
Nairobi National Park cover area of 117square km in Nairobi Province approximately 7km from Nairobi city center. The park comprises savannah vegetation, open grass plains with scattered acacia. Western side has a highland dry forest with Permanent River and riverine forest.
South side of park is Athi Kapiti Plains and Kitengela migration corridor which is a wildlife dispersal area during the rainy season. Man made dams within the park is most favorable place which attracts aquatic bird species.
Major wildlife attractions include rhino, leopard, lion, cheetah, hyena, buffaloes, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, eland and more than 400 bird species.
