Mahale Mountains National Park
Mahale National Park terrain is rugged with hills inhabited with Watongwe and Wahololo tribe. The Mahale Mountains chain dominates the area running from northwest to southeast with highest peak rising 2462m of Mount Nkungwe. The park offers much to experience from Chimpanzee tracking, mountain climbing, sport fishing in Lake Tanganyika, kayaking, snorkeling and cool relaxation along pristine white sand beaches.
