Amani Nature Reserve

Amani Nature Reserve is a wildlife protected forest area nestled at the base of East Usambara forest between Muheza and Korogwe District. Amani nature reserve is among the ecotourism destination with emphasis in conservation with low impact activities including walking, bird-watching and hiking.

Amani nature reserve is one of world’s biological hotspot with immense biodiversity includes wonderful collection of birds, butterflies and plants which some of them only found in the area, wildlife species as Black and White colobus monkey, nine species of African violet and Nduk eagle owl is among the major highlights of Amani reserve.
