Day 01: Arusha / Tarangire Park: 2 hrs drive
In the morning met Arusha for safari briefing then drive to Tarangire for morning and afternoon tour dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or similar.
The Park covers area of 2,800 sq km, and is 120 km from Arusha Town .Among species to see at Tarangire are buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, warthog, eland, giraffes and large numbers of impala…this park is famous for big herds of elephant and the baobab trees.
Day 02: Tarangire / Karatu: 2 hrs drive
Spend the morning viewing games and exploring Tarangire Park after lunch drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House or similar.
Day 03: Karatu / Ngorongoro crater: 45 mnts drive
Breakfast then with packed lunch drive to the crater for games viewing and exploring the crater floor, late afternoon ascend the crater heading to the rim for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or similar
Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed some three million years ago. The Ngorongoro crater sinks to a depth of 610 metres and its floor measures 20 kms across with a base area covering 260 square kilometres. The crater houses 30,000 animals including big five (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard) and a large variety of birds, which rarely move from the area due to the availability of water through wet and dry seasons.
Day 04: Ngorongoro / Ndutu: 1 hr drive
After breakfast drive to Ndutu (Northern Ngorongoro/southern Serengeti) Optional Olduvai Gorge or Masai village visit at an extra cost, lunch at the lodge then afternoon tour return before dusk for dinner and overnight at Lake Ndutu Tented Lodge or similar
Day 05: Ndutu / Seronera (Central Serengeti): 1.5 hrs drive
Breakfast then drive to central Serengeti games viewing on the way, hot lunch at the camp after lunch go for afternoon tour return before dusk for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or similar
Day 06: Seronera Full Day
Spend the day viewing games and exploring Serengeti plains dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or similar
Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s oldest and second largest park covering 14,763 sq km and is adjoining with Ngorongoro area to the south and with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya to the north. The Serengeti predators include lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhino are restricted to the Moru Koppies area also this area offers the big number of birds life.
Day 07: Serengeti / Lake Manyara: 4 hrs drive
Breakfast, then drive to Lake Manyara for lunch after lunch drive to the park for afternoon tour dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena lodge or similar
The Park located beneath the cliffs of Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara Park offers varied ecosystems and breathtaking views. This is the forest park with tree climbing lions, they make ancient mahogany and elegant acacia trees their home during rainy season to avoid wet, and are well-known but rather rare feature of the northern park, in addition to the lions the park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania ‘s birdlife including shore birds, hippos, giraffes and elephants also is the home to the largest concentration of baboons, that makes interesting game viewing of large families of primates
Day 08: Lake Manyara/Arusha: 2 hrs drive
After breakfast drive to Arusha, met for safari de-briefing then drop off in town for your own arrangements, accommodation in Arusha & airport transfer can be arranged at an extra cost.
